Finally!

I'm all done with my exams, I've got my motorcycle back from the service station, got my ticket to "Quarten", got myself a tent and some stuff for camping, and now I've just have to make the last preparations for this summers vacation. I guess I have to tell you what is happening since I'm going to be away for a while. 

 1. KRIK - In the last week of this month I'm going to a camp named "Action". This is a camp consisting of various activities as african dancing, american football, baseball, frisbee, soccer, climbing, orienteering, rollerblades, salsa, skateboarding, streetjazz, country/terrainbiking, photo and self-defense to mention some. It startet with a friend of mine, Hanne, who asked if I'd like to join, and yeah, I thought that would be cool. So I'm in, as one of the many leaders. At first I didn't know what I actually was supposed to do, but then I was told to support the kickboxing instructor. Great, though it's been a while since I did kickboxing, but then again: I was to support the main instructor. Later, I was told that the main instructor couldn't show up, and guess who's in charge now. Hola! Too bad cause he has been participating on this the last years and by that knows what works and what doesn't, funny is that he is a b-boy as well. =) I guess I don't need to worry because of all we have in common ... ;p

So yeah, I'm all gone the next week.

2. Paul and Ida, 1. of july: I'm happy on their behalf as they're going to ask for each others "Yes" that day. =) I'm looking forward to it, and guess it will be a weekend of joy and delight.

After this I might drive further on to Oslo visiting, among others, Andreas, a guy who I played the bass with as he played the drums in the years I was 13 til maybe 17 years old. So THAT is something I look forward to.

3. I don't need to say much more than "Quartfestivalen" - www.quart.no. *GAZING* I just saw that Tool is coming to the Quart festival.... (!!!!!) That is crazy!... I mean, this is getting too much for me..... First of all, Placebo is coming, they alone are worth it all along. Then we have Muse, and I can't wait listening to Matt Bellamy singing, to listen to them live is something I've been wanting for a long time. Third: Depeche Mode is coming. Legendary! I mean ... it's Depeche Mode ... If you don't get what I mean saying "Depeche Mode is coming", then let it be. I believe only Roxy Music could raise my expectations (though I guess not to many of you know of them - that's too bad for you). Fourth: Blindside is coming ... I started listening to them even before Placebo! That's a long time ago!! I guess I was somewhere around sixteen years old at that time, maybe even younger for what I remember. Further on I have to mention that Kanye West, Extol and Tommy Tee are some of the artists I also don't want to miss :D Not to mention Emmerhoff and the Melancholy Babies, Death Cab for Cuite, Enslaved, Opeth, Satyricon, Lady Sovereign, Sway to mention someone worth checking out. Remember that Opeth, Satyricon and Enslaved might be a bit harsh, even for me: Caution! Explicit use of distortion!
