First of all this is a book written in Norwegian, it's on the original language called "Das Enneagram, die 9 Gesichter der Seele", so for you "English only", I'm sorry. I don't know if this book is available on english, but I know that there's a whole lot litterature about the enneagram. If you serach for it at the net net you'll get quite a high number of hits about it. About the book: You've got to be fond of figuring out about "why and how do people work together and at the same time not?", and "What is it with his or her personality that goes so well along with mine?" These are some of the many questions this book deals with. It explains a lot, but this is not a specialized book, so it isn't science, but more a psychologic way to understand people. Am I speaking about some New Age stuff or something? No, it is developed by the sufies(b.c), within catholic branches etc, used for thousand of years to understand people.
The combination of psychology, spirituality and theology might seem disturbing upon those who require a methodically clean delimitation of these appereaently different ways to approach these actualities. On the other side: The eastern and western traditions this book is in debt to have always emphasized the coherence between psychologic-characterdependent maturity and spiritual-religious maturity. What we take for granted is with that out of the question: That a psychologic integrated person with analytical experience at the same time can be spiritual short-sighted. Or that religious teaching supervisors can be psychological unstable and have a clear loss of characterqualities.
